MAGE : Models, Methods and Methodologies Applied to Electrical Engineering
Welcome to MAGE research group at the G2ELab (Univ. Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble INP, CNRS). We develop various themes of research focusing mainly in
Extending the computing capabilities by focusing on methods of computational electromagnetism in continuous media, on models of materials for electrical engineering and on multi-physics and multi-methods coupling
Helping the expertise and the design of devices addressing the themes of innovation, sizing and capitalization and management of knowledge.
The group works on many applications like micro systems, electrical machine, devices of power electronics, electromagnetic actuators, machine-converter-control associations, building, electrical networks. We are linked with groups featuring other skills: computer science, mathematics, industrial engineering and social sciences.
The group is strongly involved in the LIA "Maxwell 2" with Brasil (USP, UFMG, UFSC). We also collaborate with Politecnico di Torino, Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Padova (Italy), KU-Leuven, Université de Liège, Université Libre de Bruxelle (Belgium), TU-Delft (The netherlands), University of Aberdeen (Scotland), Laurence Berkeley National LAboratory (US), Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal (Canada)
